Abstract Paintings
Creating abstract art is, for me, the most interesting, and challenging of styles. To explore colour and texture is to immerse into a dynamic world of endless depth.
Marine Art
My interest in painting boats is based on my friendship with yacht designer Ron Holland. These sailboats are his designs. We showed them when Ron released his memoir book, ‘All the Oceans’, appropriately at the Vancouver Maritime Museum.
Landscapes/Seascapes
Some commissions of Vancouver scenes, and seasonal images of the Mosel River, for an importer of German wine.
Portrait/Animation
I began painting after several years of cartooning, with the idea of merging animation and fine art. The face and body are a joy to paint, and I often return to this subject.
